During its second edition on March 25th 2010, this award will be presented to JEUMONT Electric in order to reward its achievements in terms of safety as a maintenance provider for EDF's nuclear power plants.
Since the beginning of the civil nuclear project, JEUMONT Electric has been a first rate partner for EDF. For over 30 years, the company has developed, produced and installed production or safety motors and generators for emergency gensets. Since 1977 for the first ones, over 1800 machines are in operation and have experienced no operating incidents.
Since 2000, JEUMONT Electric, as an experienced service provider, has extended its range of activities provided to French nuclear power plants by taking a significant part in the maintenance of the main generators (from 900 to 1300 MW) initially produced by other manufacturers.
With regard to its safe performance of site works, JEUMONT Electric has been awarded this prize rewarding companies' best practices for onsite maintenance.
